Ewa Mataya Laurance on hand to help Jeff Foxworthy raise money for the kids at Duke Children's Hospital

Duke Children's Hospital benefited again this year from the proceeds of the 35th annual Duke Children's Classic Celebrity Golf tournament. This is the final year for the Children’s Classic, which has raised $14 million for research, clinical care and family support programs at Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center. The event was hosted by comedian and host of "Are you Smarter Than a Fifth Grader," Jeff Foxworthy.

"I love being able to combine billiards and golf, my two passions" says Laurance. "To be able to do it while raising money for such tremendous and worthy causes is just fantastic."

On August 8-10, Ewa, along with husband and ESPN billiards commentator Mitch Laurance, will join other celebrities such as Charles Barkley, Dateline NBC's Stone Phillips and ESPN's Stuart Scott in the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic in Pinehurst, NC, August 8-10, benefiting cancer research.
